Talk: "Fire Safety Aboard" by Colin McLean, Friday 8th May

Colin McLean, as most of you  know, is Assistant Manager at Haslar Marina and he has kindly offered to address the subject of Fire Safety on board vessels with, hopefully, contributions from other Club members.

We held a very similar event in November last year and all who attended agreed that it was a very important talk and many others, who could not attend, asked for it be repeated nearer to the start of the sailing season.

Please note change of venue: The talk will take place in The Conference room at Haslar Marina Office.  Please use the labelled entrance door at the back of the office building, on the path that leads down to the marina gate. Those attending can meet for drinks and / or a meal at The Creek beforehand and we are welcome to take our drinks over to the meeting room for the talk.

The itinerary for the evening is:

          18:00 (or earlier)    Meet at The Creek restaurant if you want to buy yourselves a drink and/or a meal

         19:00 - 20:00         Talk on Fire Safety in Haslar Marina office Conference Room

         20:00 - 20:30         Q & As

         20:30                     Post talk drink and/or meal in The Creek for those who wish
