Frostbite Rally to West Cowes Provisional
Frostbite Rally to West Cowes 21st - 22nd March 2026
Get your boat ready after the winter break, join us for the first rally of the season and re-acquaint yourself with fellow Club members!
We will be berthing at Shepards Marina who are expecting us to arrive after 11am on Saturday 21st. Please call them up on channel 80, mention that you are with the Haslar YC Rally and they will provide your berthing instructions. Please note that some boats may be rafted.
We will hold a pontoon party at about 5pm after which we will be visiting The Island Sailing Club, who always look after us very well, for our evening meal, meeting there for pre-dinner drinks at 7pm. Menu choices will be available in January.
If you plan to stay more than one night please contact Shepards Marina on 01983 297821 and make your own arrangements, but tell them you are part of the Haslar YC Rally.
High water Portsmouth is 12:44 GMT on Saturday 21st.
A Rally Lead will be available to help with questions and bookings, and there are a number of other roles (see Duty Roster below) where we need volunteers to help make the rally more enjoyable. We suggest monitoring on Ch11 (Portsmouth Harbour), Ch 12 (Southampton VTS) and Cowes Harbour Ch 69 as appropriate together with Channel 16.
