Inviting a 'new person' to join you at an event/rally

In the event tickets, you should be able to invite people that you have invited before. The list of people that you can invite should appear in the 'Who for' drop-down list for the ticket.

Note: Members can't invite themselves onto other people's boats unless they are a member of that crew.   So, the boat owner needs to create a relationship first and then invite them to a rally.

To invite someone new to join you on an event:-

• If they are a member, it is best that you first 'create a relationship' with them and then invite them.
• If they are not a member, then you can use the 'Other' option on the ticket 'Who for' pull-down and add their name and details.  

First, log into the web site.  To see who you currently 'have a relationship with', go to the 'Portal - Bookings & Logbook - My Crew' page  'here', where you can see your current 'Family & Frends' and 'crew' list. 

To 'create a relationship' to a person who is a club member, use the 'Switch to Members Directory link' at the top, search for the person, select the person and use the button 'Add to Crew List'.

Once the person is a member of the crew, you can add them to events using the 'drop down' list and selecting the person you wish to book.

To remove a crew member from your crew list, log into the web site.  Then go the 'Portal - bookings& logbook - my crew' page 'here' where you can see your current 'Family & Frends' and 'crew'.   Under the crew name you will see a 'Remove from Crew List' link.  That will put them into the 'Family & Friends' list.

To remove a person from your 'Family & Friends' list, send a note to the Webmaster requesting this.
